We are a small breeder located in the Virginia countryside about 38 miles west of Washington DC. Our home is a haven for some wonderful, intelligent, endearing, mostly white dogs we know as Jack Russell Terriers (JRT). Our terriers are members of our family. They benefit from the extensive interaction with each other by living in our home rather than a kennel. One of us is almost always home, so the terriers are not normally confined on a daily basis. My husband, Brian, and I certainly feel that we benefit from this arrangement as well, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We are members of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America (JRTCA) and subscribe to the Breeders Code of Ethics. Brian and I have attended many of the JRTCA trials and have made many friends through the JRTCA, who share our love for these great little terriers. We are also members of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of Canada, which shares the same values and goals, and is recognized by the JRTCA.

JRTs are loyal, smart, and endearing companions. However, they are active and possess strong hunting instincts and are not suited for everyone! They can be a lot of dog in a little package, needing lots of exercise, individual attention, and care. For those who are prepared for and knowledgeable about the breed, JRTs can be a joy to own and live with. Therefore, we encourage you to do your homework starting with the JRTCA website located at www.terrier.com, which has extensive information about the breed.
